MoviesMakingADifference Has Completed Over 200 Rescues
JUNO BEACH, Fla. — Elev8 Consulting Group is a proud sponsor of the MoviesMakingADifference (MMAD) film screening event of “Cult Cartel” on Dec. 13 at the Loggerhead Marinelife Center theater located at 14200 U.S. Highway 1 in Juno Beach. Founded in 2014, MMAD produces feature films based on real human trafficking events, conducts rescue missions and provides survivors with access to support programs. To date, the 501c3 has rescued over 200 families in the U.S. The film is based on true events and portrays the story of a family living under the oppression of the FLDS cult. The family was later rescued by MMAD.
“I’ve dedicated my life to helping those who don’t have a voice, and I’m asking you to join us in this fight. We can make a difference, one person at a time,” said Diana Davis, actress, producer, CEO and founder, MoviesMakingADifference.
The event opens at 6 p.m., screening starts at 6:15 p.m., followed by a Q&A with producers at 8:15 p.m. An afterparty will be held from 8:30 – 10:30 p.m. and includes food, drinks and entertainment by Mic McGann of Legends Radio and DJ Lexey, electric violinist. Tickets are $175 and available for purchase online at www.MoviesMakingADifference.org. All proceeds go towards rescues, survivor support programs and increasing awareness. The event Catering Sponsor is The Bistro; the event Party Sponsor is Elev8 Consulting Group; the event Beverage Sponsor is House of Wine, Beer and Spirits.
“The work that Diana Davis and the volunteers at MoviesMakingADifference does is absolutely amazing. It’s incredible to witness what a small, dedicated team can do to eradicate this, raise awareness, conduct rescues and help survivors thrive. We’re honored to support them in this crucial mission,” said Angela Delmedico, CEO, Elev8 Consulting Group.

About MoviesMakingADifference (MMAD)
MoviesMakingADifference (MMAD) is a 501c3 nonprofit dedicated to reducing human trafficking. Founded in 2014 by actress Diana Davis, we complete rescue missions and produce feature films based on real events to raise awareness of the issues happening right in our own backyard. We believe that with increased awareness, we can “make a difference” and prevent young men and women from the horrors of human trafficking, including sexual, physical abuse and forced labor of children. As of 2023, we have rescued over 200 families and provide them with access and support programs including life readiness skills, therapy, rehabilitation, career development, financial literacy, and more. All proceeds from our films go directly to rescue missions, survivor support programs, and awareness campaigns. Films to date include “Cult Cartel” and “Cathedral Canyon”. We’re a proud nominee of the 2023 Hats Off Nonprofit Awards “Best Small Nonprofit” in Palm Beach County. Learn more, get involved or donate at www.MoviesMakingADifference.org.
